Artisan Crafted and Professionally Installed
Each pool table from Pool Tables USA is designed, engineered
and assembled to the standards of time-tested craftsmanship throughout the
construction process. Trained artisans assemble the frame and cabinet at our
factory and then ship the billiard table to you for final installation and
assembly. To ensure that the dynamics of design are not compromised during the
assembly process at the factory, absolutely no weight is ever supported by the hardware.
After the pool table has arrived at your home, Pool Tables USA offers our network of
over 600 professional installers to complete the final assembly.
Slate and Slate Bed
The quality of slate and its supporting slate bed make
all the difference for an excellent and clean game of pool.
At Pool Tables USA, we spare no expense to ensure that only the finest materials
are used to enhance your game and your peace of mind because you have purchased a
quality pool table. Our slate is cut to meet B.C.A. tournament specifications for
thickness and is supported by our signature slate bed. This trademarked Magna-Board ™
slate bed is the highest-quality billiard slate foundation available in
billiards today. Its smooth one-piece seamless design is milled to 1/5000 of
an inch for levelness and straightness. The single piece design of the slate bed also
allows for temperature and humidity changes without the danger of the bed expanding,
warping or contracting. Any deformity of this slate bed wood causes the slate to move or
lift over time and become unleveled which leads to further servicing expenses.

The Billiard Congress of America regulates the billiard industry. All Pool Tables USA billiard
tables meet or exceed the stringent BCA specifications and guidelines.

Furniture Finish
Wood stain finishes emphasize the natural warmth and beauty
inherent in each wood species so we have created a complete set of wood stain
finishes to perfectly compliment and enhance your wood selection. Pool Tables
USA realizes that in order for a piece of furniture to have a great finish,
the product must be properly prepared. Our cutting-edge facility utilizes
commercial sanding equipment as well as custom made tools to prepare the
components for stain. The use of precise, computerized controls insures
consistent stain application and unsurpassed durability. State-of-the-art
sanding equipment, built specifically to Pool Tables USA standards, assures
only the very finest of finishes. These same processes apply to our poker
tables and home bars as well. All of our matching pool table collection furniture
is held to the same standards of aesthetic excellence.

Pool Table Legs
To create our pool table legs, custom select hardwoods are
bonded grain against grain for maximum strength and support.
Once our artisans professionally carve each pool table leg, extensive
sanding ensures that the finish of each leg exceeds the expectations of all
customers. Master designers expertly proportion the pool table leg to the
cabinet body to ensure eye-catching combinations.
On our post leg billiard tables, our Patent Pending "Top Shelf"
design takes advantage of the meticulously machined one-piece post leg and
allows all of the cabinet weight to rest directly on the leg shelf. Other
manufacturers hang the panels on the leg with a dowel or bolt, which cannot
support the weight or keep the slate level. We start by mortising or
recessing the cabinet wall to accept our 2" solid wood anchor blocks,
which are glued and bonded into place. Our 2" mitered and tapered wood
gusset plate is then secured to the anchor blocks, locking the corner into place,
preventing the pool table from rocking and shifting.

Cabinetry
Our cabinets are designed to provide unparalleled slate
bed support for our smooth and seamless Magna-Board ™. The pool table utilizes
twin one-piece center beams to keep the cabinetry square and true. These
cross-laminated beams interlock with one another and are then mortised into
all four cabinet sidewalls to prevent any cabinet warping or twisting.
Our Quality Control department pays particular attention to matching grain
patterns and alternating growth rings to create a beautiful canvas that will
stand the test of time.

Rails
Our American hardwood rails and the "Sure Shot"
natural gum rubber rail system are engineered with a professional control
fabric and an acceleration arch. The bumpers are 100% natural gum rubber
molded at a K-66 profile (meaning they are professional tournament quality).
The combination provides unequaled accuracy by preventing abnormal billiard
ball acceleration and deflection.
To create the finest quality billiard table rail, two pieces of dissimilar
American hardwood species are glued together; this produces a solid rail that
will not split, crack or cup.
The "Posi-Anchor" rail mounting system allows our
factory-trained installers to position and properly torque the rails to the
Prima Classe™ slate surface, insuring crisp, clean and accurate rebounds,
shot-after-shot. Go ahead and give them a bounce!
Precision pool table rail tolerances and 100% natural gum rubber cushions
deliver the rebound accuracy demanded by tournament professionals.
Interlocking blinds are dadoed and permanently bonded to the pool table
rails, completing the custom furniture build that dramatically increases the
billiard table's durability and overall appearance.

Felt
Pool Tables USA offers two billiard cloth options to suit your playing
needs. All of our pool tables offer our high quality 21-ounce Teflon™ coated
standard felt in 9 classic colors. This billiard felt is water and stain resistant.
Our premium felt is perfect for recreational players and will not pill or wear
unevenly, providing an excellent surface for consistent billiard ball spin and a true shot.
Pilling can create uneven play and ultimately lead to the cloth wearing in certain spots
when the shorter fibers become loose and fall out. The standard billiard felt can be
upgraded to Simonis billiard cloth on most of our pool tables. Simonis felt is
24-ounces in weight so it is a heavier speed felt that wears differently than
any other billiard cloth because it is worsted to prevent pilling. This billiard cloth
construction also allows for minimum friction and maximized speed because of its ultimate
smoothness.
